Yummy Pitaya Smoothie Increases Brain Power!

When I visited Nicaragua last summer I went crazy for the daily dose of pitaya smoothies! I couldn't get enough of the vibrant color and incredible certainly acted like a super food and made me very happy! Being a high in fiber, the pitaya, or dragon fruit, slows the flow of glucose to your brain by distributing it better over time.


  • 1 frozen packet pitaya (like Pitaya Plus)

  • 1/4 cup rasberries

  • 1/2 cup blueberries

  • 1/2 an avocado

  • 1 Tbsp Flaxseeds

  • 1 cup spinach

  • 1 1/2 cup orange juice

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or water)

  • 1 tsp RAW Honey

  1. Combine all ingredients into a blender; be sure to add the soft ingredients first.

  2. Blend on medium - high for 30 seconds or until desired consistency.

  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy:)

Avocado - A fatty fruit that promotes healthy blood flow throughout your body, and of course your brain : )

Blueberries & Raspberries - Protects the brain in many ways. Most notably balancing your bodies ability to counteract against free radicals.

Flaxseed - Loaded with Omega 3 fatty acids. Omega 3’s are important for many things, including cognitive performance.

RAW Honey - Great source of energy for your body and mind.
